About Nasim Nourian

Artist Statement:

My subject matter varies as my mind fluctuates.  I see an interesting face, a movement of the body, a stillness of the water or heaviness of a rock and I am compelled to capture the living aspect of that subject.  Accuracy alone is not my intention, but capturing the light and the dark around and within the subject fascinates me.  My inspiration is the light that surrounds even the darkest of the subjects.  And my goal is to inspire those who see my work to discover the light of the world around them.
